Called “agujas” in Spanish, you may also see these referred to as needlefish or simply needles. We call them delicious, and a great way to add variety and interest to your pantry and BYOT events. Where big sardines are shaped like an inverted teardrop in cross section, garfish are shaped more like a pencil, more tubular. Clean tasting and mild.
