I can’t believe I am the first to review these! The Olasagasti anchovies are a solid step up from supermarket anchovies. They are a little salty, which prevents me from eating them all in one go. I am enjoying them greatly on toast or crackers with butter. The fillets are firm and intact, though not nearly as beautiful as the Codesa Serie Oro anchovies that stole my heart.

This just in – Wow, these are great! Eating gildas for the first time now with these guys and also wow, gildas are delicious and great with beer, I’m finding out. I haven’t had anchovies in decades either so if you’re on the fence, go for it. Eating one right out of the tin, I now understand how these could easily be incorporated into a sauce or dressing.
