We do not offer any discounts of any kind. We don’t put things on sale. We do not have a wholesale program.
We do have the following promotions active and running:
The First Taste is Free
This is for people who are on the fence, who feel the pull of interest but also the equal pull of an unnamed hesitation. For people whose new media are influencing them to want, but who feel the anchor drag of old media telling them sardines are gross (they aren’t, don’t get your news from cartoons).
We are also aware that a lot of people have texture issues which make it difficult to introduce new foods into their diet.
We are so sure you will enjoy tinned fish that we will send you your first tin for free.
No risk.
Referral Program
Registered users with over $50 in purchases are eligible to participate, and should see their referral code visible while logged in. It’s in My Account | Refer A Friend, and it’s a tab down by reviews in every product detail page. Sending that referral code to anyone who uses it to place an order over $50 will give them a $10 discount on that first order, and when they make payment for that first order, you will also receive a $10 gift card usable for anything on our website.
Correcting Errors Credit
If you find a mistake on our website and let us know about it, we will give you $5 in store credit.
We hate mistakes, and we recognize that we are imperfect. One of our mantras is: continuous incremental improvement.
& More
Repeat customers get small “thank you” gifts in their orders.
We won’t do anything designed to trick customers into buying or buying more than they wanted.
We don’t send nag emails when you leave your cart, we don’t end prices in .99, we don’t run “flash” sales (or sales of any kind), we don’t do anything to create a false sense of urgency, to name a few.
The hidden price of most sales and promotions is often service (an umbrella term for a legion of things including but not limited to responsiveness, order accuracy, ease of communication, breadth of inventory, depth of inventory, support both prior to and after the sale), or something you can’t see, like how employees are being treated.
